Supporting athletes in their career decisions with an AI-based solution
The Challenge
Develop a modular, AI-based solution called "Career Management AI" to provide scientifically sound advice to athletes on sporting and non-sporting career issues.
The demands placed on career counselling for athletes are constantly increasing – not only in the field of sport, but also with regard to education, financial security and life after an active career. At the same time, athletes' knowledge needs are becoming increasingly individualised, depending on their sport, age, performance level and existing support services.
The advisory services focus on financial issues and systemic, organisational and personal hurdles in building a sustainable career and transitioning into post-career life. Since athletes today are highly mobile and flexible, they need solutions that are immediately available, personalised and directly applicable.
As an Innovation Fellow, you will develop personalised, AI-supported learning and support services. You will design an agile, scientifically grounded and scalable platform that is tailored to the individual needs of athletes. Your work will help to set new standards in career support and provide athletes with long-term support throughout and beyond their sporting careers.
